Shown is a B2C addressed direct mail to existing Toyota customers | We were challenged with creating a marketing program in central BC, which arose from the thorny safety issue of the sticking accelerator of the Corolla. We recommended direct mail to existing customers offering a safety related item as an added incentive on a new or used vehicle lease or purchase.
The offer was Free Bluetooth for hands-free mobile conversation along with 0% financing. It was a value-added premium offer with a direct correlation to the safety issue of safely staying connected to friends and loved ones while on summer vacation. Our marketing partner on this assignment was A2 Communications in Vancouver.
RESULTS | The dealers were pleased as they exceeded their sales and leasing projections on new cars, and far exceeded sales expectations on used vehicles. More importantly the program helped to create some good press for Toyota based in part on the Free Bluetooth offer promoting highway safety.
